About the University of Arkansas Department of Biomedical Engineering

Established in 2012, the Department of Biomedical Engineering is the first and only biomedical engineering program in the state of Arkansas. It has established itself as one of the premier research departments on campus that is committed to training undergraduate and graduate students to become leaders in the field of biomedical engineering.
